An excellent debut in the world of young adult fiction, Chase’s world of super heroes and aliens still manages to capture the charm of its characters without being lost in the breadth of its setting. Curtis and Bryce are likable kids whose contrast with each other tells an unusual story that leaves me wanting more. While not a groundbreaking work, this is a fun story and is worth the purchase.

Chace really brings the characters to life in My Brother is Human. I used to wonder how anyone could make superhumans and aliens seem realistic and exciting, and now I know. This is a great read and left me wanting more. My Brother is Human is one of my favorites now.

Didn’t have nearly enough superhero action, but who needs action when you have emotion and family bonds that will either break or strengthen over time?
As a well-written story with the author’s heart and soul, this heartwarming, action-packed, drama-filled, insomnia-inducing story will leave you crying or laughing.
Probably both.
